Our Mission: Promote education and participation through cognitive function and poetry created by GDF Children. 

 

Poetry is motivating and builds phonemic awareness, while enhancing the alphabetical principle, vocabulary, fluency, expression, and writing skills and the genre also has the potential to make reading a positive learning experience.

Poetry Appreciation Presentation: The children will use the skills and concepts they have learned about poetry throughout the week into creating their own and reading it to the class.
