Save the date! The 2nd Gabriela Dias Foundation "Hope for Change" Poker Tournament & Jazz Concert will be held on October 10th, 2019, once again at the Loading Dock, Stamford, CT. The event will gather 300 people from the business, media, academic, diplomatic and artistic communities of the United States and around the world to celebrate philanthropy and raise resources for social initiatives, programs and projects in Fairfield County and Vale do Jequitinhonha, Brazil.
The Gabriela Dias Foundation is a non-profit created in Greenwich, CT in 2017 to promote the rights of children and adolescents in many disadvantaged areas. By providing participation and experiences with the arts in an equal and similar way that is available to higher socioeconomic communities, both in school and outside the classroom.
The Gabriela Dias Foundation invests in raising the levels of education and the programs that ensure that high-quality arts and education is available to all young people. In 2 years, the Foundation has helped over 3,000 children and youth and supported over 25 social projects in Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport , CT, USA and Vale do Jequitinhonha in Brazil. The " Hope for Change" event will help support projects in the areas of Arts and Education.
